ADVENTURE

BEERS MADE BY WALKERS, FOR WALKERS AND THE ENVIRONMENT.

This project was formulated from a brief which I did at university. The challenge was to create either a vegan, confectionery or confinement brand which was also sustainable. I decided to create a vegan beer brand as it is something i’ve always wanted to design.

A mistake which most brands make when creating a brand identity for a vegan product is that they only market it towards vegan consumers, this dramatically reduces your consumer base as most non vegan consumers will not purchase it as it is labelled vegan - leading them to believe the product won’t taste good if they have had a negative experience with vegan products before. Instead I decided to target a group of people which one have a love for beer and secondly a love for the environment.

I made a strong logo which will deeply connects with my target audience using custom footprint shape which contains the brand name which I then printed using a Lino sheet to give it that rough texture to convey a dirty boot print. To bring some more life to the deign of the can I also included the silhouette of a mountain and a subtle topographic pattern to the background to add a layer of depth. I did not want to restrict this brand to a colour scheme as all of the products are related to a season.

Adventure is a sustainable vegan beer brand for people which enjoy the taking in the Uk’s countryside. There is a range of 4 drinks available: Amber Ale, Light Lager, Best Bitter and Strong Stout. These drinks would be available in 330ml and pint sized cans.

All 4 beverages would be found at traditional pubs on tap around some of the UK’s most popular beauty spots for adventurers to enjoy after their adventure!
